A gift of Hope

From day to day many children’s lives end short

In all the darkness to harshness they get caught

And even though the next day they may not see the light

They show us the courage and strength

So in dark times we can shine bright

*

They act strong

Knowing it would be long

Till they do a simple task that we take for granted

Such as running in the puddles of the pouring rain

To let go, be free and to forget the re-occurring pain

But what’s sad is many kids die before they get the chance

to live large, sing, laugh and prance

*

So before you complete your dream

Think of those who never had the chance

And then turn around and glance

At the innocent children pushed into this world of sin

And with each day their shining light grows dim

So I ask of you for the memories, the laughter and the fun

To be given to these children like god to his son

So that as they close their eyes at night they can cope

And with everyday to come it brings new hope.

‘to all the children out there that are sick and hospital or in a poverty stricken country this is for you’

No place like..

Life is a funny tale that you have dreams in which are planted in your heart you know where you see yourself but in between that time how on earth do you get there?
So make a change. Jump. Struggle. Miss things that you had. Or discover new ones.
When you feel in a rutt change not knowing the direction. Cause at the end of the day it’s you that needs to change not the place or the people . You can find those things wherever. But in new experiences you realise who you are and what you need has always been accessible.
On moving to the other side of the world it’s made me realise I took home for granted the place was amazing. It’s where I dream of living. And I was going on in a rutt thinking it was place that needed to change when all I needed to do was change me change my situation it’s all in my control. So I look forward to going home and excited on new friendships and my new lifestyle change.

"People will never stop asking you if you’re eventually going to go to college. And unless you’re clairvoyant, you will never be able to answer this question, which doesn’t stop people from asking it all the time. No matter what you’re deciding to do with your life, your answer will never seem good enough for some people. You have to learn to mentally flip the bird to them as you respond with something light and pithy, like, “Oh, who knows! Maybe one day.” These are the same people that will eventually plague your life with questions like, “When are you going to get married?” or “Don’t you want to have a baby?” What they’re really asking is, “So where exactly do you fit into this framework of social acceptance that I have bought into?” They are judging you by their own standards, and you shouldn’t be made to feel inferior as a result of not conforming to them. Even with a college degree, you’ll never know how things are going to turn out for you."
